Day Two
After a light breakfast we travel to the Lower Eastside for our ethnic
eating tour which features a visit to the Pickle Guys, Chinatown and Little Italy. We will sample plantains, pickles, tofu, candy rose petals, meats, cheeses and canolli’s. We have lunch at the famous Katz’s Deli. This afternoon enjoy a guided New Cuisine Chocolate Tour of Soho. The New Cuisine Chocolate Tour is a very adventurous and friendly approach to chocolate. The neighborhood is known for its hip, young designer stores that cohabitate with the big names in the fashion industry and with other quirky boutiques and discreet restaurants. You’ll have the chance to taste the
finest chocolates with an exotic edge, and an amazing hot or iced chocolate (depending on the availability). This evening dinner is served at one of New York’s Popular Restaurants. (CB,L,D)
Day Three
After a light breakfast, enjoy some free time in the city before visiting the Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District. Explore two old industrial areas that are evolving into the hottest new destinations in New York City. Discover how these locations are becoming known for gourmet food shops, ethnic restaurants, boutique shopping, and nightlife. Taste delicious specialties from seven food shops during this tour. Depart for home.
